General presentation

The Islands of Tahiti cover an ocean surface as wide as the size of Europe which means nearly 5 millions square kilometers. In order to maintain a permanent link with supply and equipment sources, The Islands of Tahiti are regulary served by the largest cargo ships calling which in the Port of Papeete.

Thanks to 8 international airline companies offering weekly connections to the largest cities (Paris, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hawaii, Sydney, Santiago del Chile, Tokyo, Auckland…) The Islands of Tahiti now have a first rate airline service available, through Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport, in constant expansion and located only 5 km from the Port terminal.

The Islands of Tahiti are in the same time zone as Hawaii, and the same International Date Line as North America.
